Traditional silicon-based inverters are limited by material properties, featuring high switching loss, low operating frequency and poor heat dissipation. Their conversion efficiency is locked at a low level, failing to meet the lightweight, high-frequency and high-efficiency demands of modern portable energy storage.
As a wide-bandgap semiconductor, SiC delivers outstanding advantages: ultra-low switching loss, high temperature resistance, high breakdown voltage and excellent thermal conductivity. It fundamentally surpasses the performance limitations of conventional silicon solutions.
SiC MOSFET greatly cuts switching and reverse recovery losses, and supports much higher operating frequency. Under the same working conditions, SiC inverters reduce total power loss significantly and achieve an ultra-high conversion efficiency far beyond traditional products, maintaining superior performance even under light-load operation.
With excellent high-temperature endurance, SiC devices operate stably under extreme thermal conditions, effectively downsizing heat dissipation structures and improving overall operational reliability. Higher operating frequency also miniaturizes inductors and capacitors, greatly boosting power density while realizing high efficiency and portability.
