On the first day of the Beijing International Automobile Exhibition, CATL released its latest lithium iron phosphate battery product - Shenxing PLUS. This new battery has both an ultra-long battery life of 1,000 kilometers and 4C supercharge characteristics, marking a major breakthrough in new energy vehicle battery technology.

Shenxing PLUS battery provides users with a more convenient travel experience with its excellent battery life. According to CATL, the battery can enable electric vehicles to travel long distances from Beijing to Nanjing without charging midway, greatly expanding the scope of use of new energy vehicles. Behind this achievement is CATL’s continuous innovation and R&D efforts in battery technology.
Technically, Shenxing PLUS uses a number of innovative technologies to improve battery performance. The particle grading technology of the positive electrode material, the three-dimensional honeycomb material of the negative electrode, and the first integrated shell structure jointly improve the energy density and space utilization of the battery. System-level optimization has also enabled the energy density of the Shenxing PLUS battery to reach 205Wh/kg, thus achieving a driving range of more than 1,000 kilometers.
In addition to long battery life, Shenxing PLUS also has the ability to charge quickly. It can replenish 600 kilometers of endurance in 10 minutes, thanks to the application of fast ion conductor coating, transition metal doping and other technologies, as well as the use of AI intelligent polarization models in the BMS core algorithm.
